Jerry has been involved in the financial markets for over 40
years. Since joining First Tennessee as Chief Investment
Officer in 2007, he has helped to expand and modernize
investment strategies for the bank's clients. He frequently
conducts investor seminars and workshops and meets one
on one with clients and prospects. His prior experience
includes working with banks, brokerage firms and security
exchanges.
Laurain's previous accomplishments include launching
LaSalle Bank's first corporate finance group, leading
institutional derivative sales and trading teams in New York
City and Chicago and leading his own independent floor
brokerage operation at the Chicago Board of Trade.
Jerry earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics/Statistics and
a Master of Science in Management(Finance) at Case
Western Reserve University. He is a member of the First
Horizon Pension & Investment Retirement Committee and
chairs the FTB Advisors Investment Committee. He holds
multiple securities licenses and the Chartered Financial
Analyst ® designation a is a certified BBQ judge.
